Strong taste
FIR HONEYDEW
It is spread both on the Alps and the Apennines, in wide forests, in the 400 and 1800 meters height range. It has a dark, nearly black, amber color sometimes with greenish shades. It has a scent and taste of medium intensity and it isn't very much sweet nor persistent on the palate. Its blossom is between July and September.

Great warmed up in a bain marie (bowl resting in a pan of boiling water) and combined with fresh ricotta cheese.
