LAVENDER
In Italy lavender plants are spread across the Tyrrhenian coast and in the islands. Its honey is the only lavender honey it is produced in Italy in great quantities. It is produced in Sardinia and, occasionally, in other Tyrrhenian areas (Island of Elba). Lavender blossoms from March to May and it has an amber color, verging on straw yellow.
